The Prime Minister has confirmed that anyone who has suffered damage as a result of the riots will be able to seek compensation from the Police Authorities. He has also extended the deadline for the submission of claims under the Riot Damages Act from 14 to 42 days.
Claims should be submitted to Insurance Companies through the normal claims process as soon as possible.
